Welcome to Salmontalks Lillooet. We hope to give a unique perspective on the salmon crisis from all people living in the Interior Mid-Fraser Basin region.
SalmonTalks Lillooet is a group that arose in response to the extremely low numbers of Fraser River sockeye salmon returning to their spawning grounds and to the threats to many other salmon populations throughout British Columbia, Canada. Membership is very diverse. Our purpose is to educate ourselves, to wisely address issues effecting the survival of salmon, to ally with similar groups throughout BC and to organize diverse activities to encourage everyone to protect Pacific wild salmon.
